PURPOSE:To improve heat-resisting characteristic by fixing each one end of metallic wires to a base plate, releasing the other ends thereof to be brush-like, and filling spaces among the brush-like wires with synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:A brake plate 3 fixed to a shaft 2 of a driver 1 comprises a base plate 4 where each one end of metallic wires 5 is planted, wherein the other ends of the metallic wires are brush-like. Heat-resisting synthetic resin 6 is filled up in spaces among the metallic wires 5. The metallic wire may be preferably a soft steel wire, a hard steel wire, or the like and the synthetic resin may be preferably phenol resin, melamine or polynoid. In this arrangement, heat generated at the time of braking is dispersed through the metallic wires having good thermal conductivity to heighten heat-resisting characteristic as a brake plate. |
