PURPOSE:To permit the adjustment of the outflow port of a nozzle for a molten metal in a vertical direction by constituting a lifting frame for supporting a tundish via a trunnion in such a manner that said frame can be inclined relative to a tundish carriage frame by means of a level adjusting mechanism attached to te carriage frame. CONSTITUTION:The lifting frame 8 supports the tundish T via the trunnion 7. The frame 8 is made inclinable relative to the carriage frame 19 by means of the level adjusting mechanism attached to the frame 19 so that the outflow hole of the nozzle 4 for the molten metal can be adjusted in the vertical direction. More specifically, a space 17 is provided in the frame 19 to permit the movement of the bottom end of a lifting rod 18. A lifting shoe 16 is united to the front end of the rod 18 attached to the lifting jack 24 fixed to the frame 19 by means of a screw, etc. |
