An automatic subscriber exchange (A344) includes a control computer ("μ"0). An information storage data unit (HD) is connected to, or integrated in, the above mentioned control computer. A terminal equipment (TER) is connected, or is connectable to, respectively, the data unit or the computer. The terminal equipment includes a keyboard (T) and a display (D). An interface (FMA) is fitted to the terminal equipment and the exchange is designed to include a diversion function. Information contained in the data unit (HD) on a diversion and possible reasons for this, together with time indications, can be displayed on, or at, the above mentioned display in connection with calls by a called subscriber or with the connection, and answering of, the call at the interface. The exchange includes, or is connected to, an electronic directory in an independent known manner. This directory contains information on the exchange's various connections in accordance with a predetermined method. The electronic directory is connected, or connectable, to the above mentioned terminal equipment for the diversion function, so that when actuated by the first actuation device (Na) on the keyboard, relevant parts of the directory are displayed on or at the display. The directory contains special marks indicating diversion to the information in the directory about the diverted connection, when the directory information on the above mentioned actuation of the above mentioned first keyboard device, appears on or at the above mentioned display device (D). This marking can of itself include various diversion categories, which can be read off directly from directory information on the screen. Alternatively and/or complementarily, the actuation of other actuation devices on the keyboard can be initiated so that more detail e.g. the reason for the diversion and /or time information associated with this is displayed on, or at, the display device, of the connection thereby required from the directory.<IMAGE> |
