<p>p-Acetamidophenyl diethylaminoacetate nI) and its non-toxic acid addn. the hydrochloride, are new. Also claimed are medicaments contg. (I) or its salts, partic. useful as analgesics. (I) is highly water-soluble nunlike p-acetamidophenyl (II)) giving stable solns. (I) rapidly liverates nII) in the body and thus has comparable pharmacological (e.g. analgesics, antihyperthermic) props. Daily doses are 3-6x200 mg in capsules or tablets, or 100-300 mg i.v. (as 100mg ampoules). (I) may be prepd. by reacting p-acetamidophenyl chloroacetate with excess Et2NH or with an equiv. of Et2NH in presence of Et3N, at 40-50 degrees C.</p> |
