PURPOSE:To enable sure shape control by providing at least one roll device wchich is mounted successively eccentrically with split rolls to a shaft and is provided with a mechanism for adjusting the eccentric position as a horizontal bending device, backup roll, etc. CONSTITUTION:The split rolls 6a-6e having the same outside diameter are mounted to a shaft 10 supported to a frame 17 with required intervals. The rolls 6a, 6e are mounted to the shaft 10 with the axial center is a center, the roll 6c is mounted to the eccentric shaft part 10a with the axial center O1 of eccentricity E as a center and the rolls 6b, 6d are mounted to eccentric sleeves 12 with the axial center O2 of the eccentricity E/2 as a center. Driving pinions 14, 16 meshed with sector gears 13, 15 are further provided to adjust the eccentric positions of the shaft part 10a and the sleeve 12 thereby constituting the roll device. The mechanical control of the profile of the roll surface is thus made possible. |
