Method consists in calculating a mask indicating the coefficients of the S+P transformed image which corresponds to the region of interest and transmitting the coefficients at early stages to obtain a lossless region of interest in the receiver and a lossy remaining image. The mask is obtained by tracing a step backwards on a separate line and then setting according to conditional branches. |
