COATED STEEL SHEET PILE OF CORROSION RESISTANCE AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To economically obtain subject product which has a good mechanical strength and durability for a long period of time by coating the main body of a steel sheet pile with a specific, thick coating layer of corrosion resistance, and by coating a joint portion with a melted-hardened layer of powdered polyolefin. CONSTITUTION:A thick corrosion resistant layer 10 consisting of an adhesive agent layer (for example; olefin group hot melt adhesive agent layer etc.) 8 of heat bonding, preferably with bonding temperatures of 80-200 deg.C; and a crosslinking plastic (for instance; crosslinking polyethylene etc.) sheet 9 is provided via adhesive agent layer 8 over one or both sides of the main body 4 of a steel sheet pile 1 which has the main body 4 and joint portions 5, and over at least one portion of the exposed surface of the joint portions where the thick layer 10 of corrosion resistant coating is not provided a thin coating layer 11 consisting of a melted-hardened layer of powdered polyolefin is provided abuttingly along the thick layer 10 of corrosion resistant coating, thus subject product is obtained.
