PURPOSE:To automate the cancel of a deed with respect to a time deposit by reading transaction information existing on a deed and collating said read-out information at a center. CONSTITUTION:After a user keys in a function key of ''cancel'' the user inserts a deed into a deed insertion port according to the guide. Then a main control part 215 reads a password number and an account number and deposit amount of a time deposit, which are recorded on the deed, with the aid of a magnetic head. When said password number coincides with that inputted by the user, canceling specification data and the account number and deposit amount of the time deposit are transmitted to a center 201. At this center 201, they are collated with the account number and deposit amount recorded in a time deposit account file 208. When they are coincident, interest information is transmitted to an automatic teller machine 202. Thus the main control part 205 prints the canceling printed data on the deed, and simultaneously outputs bank notes in accordance with money payment data from a money payment part 214. |
