PURPOSE:To prevent exfoliation of a recording film at the boundary and to suppress deterioration in the recording film, by forming a protective film on the outer surface of a resin-based material equipped with a guide for leading light and optical recording film by using a material having a characteristic close to the coefficients of linear expansion of the optical recording film and resin base material. CONSTITUTION:A light leading groove 2 is provided in a disk base material 1 made of polycarbonate resin and an optical recording film 3 is deposited on the surface of the groove 2. Both outer surfaces of the upper and lower surfaces of a disk base board 6 prepared in such a way are cured by applying a protective film 7 made of a silicone- based ultravioletsetting resin on the outer surfaces. The material for making the protective film 7 is selected from materials having coefficients of linear expansion which are very close to the coefficients of linear expansion of the recording film 3 and base material 1. Therefore, even when this information recording carrier is put in a high-temperature and high-moisture environment or in another environment where a room-temperature atmosphere and high-temperature condition are alternately repeated, the internal stress resulting from the difference in expanded quantity can be made very small and exfoliation at the boundaries among the base material 1, recording film 3, and protective film 7 can be prevented. |
