PURPOSE:To securely match a thermal head and a platen roller to each other, by fitting the head and the roller to a common frame. CONSTITUTION:An end of the thermal head 2 is turnably fitted to one side of a bottom part of a head frame 16 by a hinge 3, and a spring 4 is connected to the frame 16 to exert an upward elastic force on the head 2. The platen roller 9 is supported on both side walls 16a of the frame 16 through a shaft 18, and a part of the peripheral surface thereof is pressed against an upper surface on the free end side of the head 2 along the axial direction. The head frame 16 is fitted to a lower frame 1. |
