PURPOSE:To prevent the increase of a critical hardware fault as well as the useless break of a power supply in an automatic make/break system of power supply, by cutting off a system power supply unconditionally when said fault occurs and then suppressing the application of the power supply. CONSTITUTION:A timer 32 transmits signals to a power supply application circuit 33 at a reserved time point for application of power supply. A power supply control circuit 16 applies a system power supply to start the operation of a system 10. If a critical hardware fault occurs, a power supply cut-off indication is sent to a power supply cut-off device 20 from an instruction controller 13. At the same time, the timer 32 is set to suppress the subsequent application of power supply. When the power supply is cut off after the processing is over, the present time point is compared with a reserved time point for the next application of power supply. Then the power supply is not cut off and the next processing is carried out if the present time is larger than the reserved time. This prevents the useless cut-off of the power supply. |
