PICTURE SCANNING RECORDING METHOD

PURPOSE:To simplify the work synthesizing a line drawing in a pattern by storing a picture signal of a prescribed picture area in scanning an original picture and outputting a picture signal except in the prescribed picture area and the stored picture signal together to the designated area at copy recording side. CONSTITUTION:An original picture drum 8 and a recording drum 9 are turned by a motor 7 coupled with a shaft 32. The original picture 1 arranged with a character original picture 2 and a pattern original picture 3 is wound on the drum 8 and a photosensitive member is coated to the drum 9. A pickup head 12 is arranged to the drum 8 and moved along the drum 8 by a feeding screw driven by a motor 11 and a signal L scanning the character original picture 2 and a signal P scanning the pattern original picture 3 are obtained from the head 12. The signal L is amplified (17), converted (18) into a binary signal and stored in a picture storage device 19. The signal P is subjected to prescribed correction and inputted to a switch circuit 29 via a dot generating circuit 23. The circuit 29 records the pattern signal from the circuit 23 on the photosensitive member of the drum 9 via an exposure head 14 and records the character 4b from the device 19 onto the pattern 3b when the head comes to a position designated by an XY coordinate input device 31.
