PURPOSE:To make the vertical rule line straight even when being printed both normally and reversely, by correcting the striking position by 1/m dots from the reference value when reverse printing is started. CONSTITUTION:A striking position setting circuit 12 determines by 1/m dots the value the printing starting position is to be shifted from the reference value according to the set value entered from an input port 11 when printing is done reversely. A data latch circuit 16 drives a driver 18 according to printing data provided from a processor 13 and printing conditions provided from an even/odd print selection circuit 14. Thus, variations in a space mechanism system can be corrected by 1/m dots for each dot printer. |
