PURPOSE:To make a car easy to shift into the constant speed running state when the car speed is high and hard to shift into the constant speed running state when the car speed is low by changing the allowable accel stroke width according to the car speed. CONSTITUTION:Each output of a pedal potentiometer 1, car speed sensor 4, brake switch 5, and clutch switch 6 is read in a microcomputer 3. The degree of throttle opening target value is output based on preset operation and a throttle valve 10 is open/close-controlled. Supposing that the variation of the car speed is held within preset width exceeding a preset period of time and the accel stepping-in amount is held in preset width, a degree of throttle opening control means for constant speed running is set. In this case, the accel stepping-in holding width is changed according to the running speed. |
