PURPOSE:To facilitate measuring operation by driving an ultrasonic sensor fitted movably to a stand on which a lay figure with an opening part is mounted, receiving a reflected wave from clothes put on the lay figure, and processing the received signal. CONSTITUTION:The lay figure 7 with the opening part 8 is provided through the lay figure device coupling part 3 at the upper part of a supporter 2, and the ultrasonic sensor 4 is provided to an arm 6 through a rotary coupler 5 which moves up and down on the supporter 2. Further, a scanning part 9 fitted to the coupling part 5 is connected to an electric control unit 10, the sensor 4 is driven by a transmitter 11 to emit an ultrasonic wave which about 0.34mm. wavelength and an about 5mm. beam diameter, and a reflected wave arriving from the clothes through the opening part 8 is outputted as distance information from a signal processing part 13 through a receiver 12. In this case, respective circuits in the coupling part 5 and unit 10 are controlled with signals from the control part 14. |
