<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of machining a very thin soft plate material, by laser without a fixing jig, and a laser beam machining device for such method. SOLUTION: This laser beam machining device is equipped with a set of work supporting rollers with a space S provided through which a laser beam LB is passable; a laser machining head 5 which is freely movable above and along the space S of this set of work supporting rollers 23, 25; a work moving device 27, which is freely movable in the direction orthogonally crossing the moving direction of the laser machining head 5, on a work table 17; and a clamp arm 30, which fixedly supports both ends in the moving direction of the work, on the work moving device 27.</p> |
