PURPOSE:To make it possible to manufacture an anode easily and safely while maintaining the performance of a cell by forming a lithium cell composed of an anode of graphitic acid, a cathode of lithium, and electrolyte of lithium perchlorate dissolved in an organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:Benzene is processed by the thermal cracking through a gaseous phase method to produce carbon fiber treated in graphitization by heating, and this is fed into the mixed liquid consisting of concentrated nitric and sulphuric acid, and the proper amount of potassium chlorate is fed into the liquid while stirring, and graphitic acid is formed by its wet oxidation, and it is treated by deoxidation and drying. And, a lithium cell is formed by using an anode of graphitic acid mounted on a polyethylene holder, a cathode of lithium, electrolytic liquid of potassium perchlorate dissolved in propionic acid carbonate. Thereby, the anode can be manufactured easily and safely without the lowering of the cell performance as well as without the consideration of any environmental problem by using the graphitic acid. |
