PURPOSE:To enable the use of a sort of arithmetic circuit storing one arithmetic constant for internal combustion engine having different displacement as well by inserting to the input end side of a measuring circuit the circuit converting and outputting the width of an input pulse signal according to the type of an internal combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:A pulse and time converting circuit 4 is connected between a solenoid controlled injection valve opening and closing detecting circuit 2 which detects the operation of the solenoid controlled injection valve drive circuit 1 and the measuring circuit 3 measuring the pulse time thereof and the circuit 4 is made of the integration circuit consisting of a resistance R4, capacitor C1 and diode D2, and of the CMOS buffer integrated circuit rectifying the output signal waveform thereof. The fuel consumption of the internal combustion engine having larger displacement is measured thereby with reducing the time constant of the integrated circuit of the circuit 4 and the consumption of internal combustion engine having smaller displacement can be measured with increasing the time constant thereof. |
