PURPOSE:To obtain a polymer composition which has good melt moldability and gives moldings having excellent strength characteristics, by incorporating a fluorine-containing organic polysiloxane into a polyvinylidene fluoride polymer. CONSTITUTION:A polymer composition comprising a polyvinylidene fluoride polymer (e.g. a vinylidene fluoride homopolymer or a copolymer of vinylidene fluoride as a principal component and tetrafluoroethylene, vinyl fluoride, etc.) and a fluorine-containing organic polysiloxane [e.g. preferably a bis(2-perfluoroalkyl ethyl)siloxane] preferably in an amount of 0.1-10wt%. The suitable temperature for compounding or molding the composition is 200-300 deg.C. |
