PURPOSE:To control the rotation of an AC single-phase motor at constant speed by driving a commercial power source by a pulse pulse-width-modulated by a signal in response to the rotating speed of the motor. CONSTITUTION:A sinusoidal wave output from a tachometer generator 2 connected with a motor 3 is applied through a waveform shaper 1 to a speed detector 4. The output of the detector 4 is integrated by an integrator 5. An adder 7 adds the output from an integrator 5 and the output of a triangular wave generator 6, and adds a pulse width modulation signal through a pulse transformer 9 to a transistor 11. Thus, a power source is controlled ON or OFF to control the rotating speed of the motor constant. |
