PURPOSE:To make it possible that a terminating subscriber receives a message after an originating subscriber leaves the message to disconnect a call during interruption of the call after response of the terminating subscriber. CONSTITUTION:When a terminating subscriber 8 transmits a signal (a) which starts recording of the message of an originating subscriber 7, a signal detecting circuit 1 detects the signal (a) and transmits it to a controller 2. If the originating subscriber 7 leaves the message to disconnect the call thereafter, the signal detecting circuit 1 detects a disconnection signal (b) of the originating subscriber and transmits it to the controller 2. When receiving the disconnection signal of the originating subscriber, the controller 2 controls a message recording and reproducing device 3 to stop reception and recording of the message and controls an originating subscriber disconnection reporting device 5 to report it to the terminating subscriber 8 that the originating subscriber 7 disconnects the call. The originating subscriber disconnection reporting signal is transmitted to the terminating subscriber 8 through a switching network 6. When the terminating subscriber 8 transmits a signal a' which indicates reproducing of the message of the originating subscriber, the signal detecting circuit 1 detects the signal a' and transmits it to the controller 2. |
