发明名称 PRODUCTION OF OPTICAL DISK SUBSTRATE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase of foreign matter at the time of molding and to obtain a high-performance substrate having a decreased foreign matter amt. by using a polycarbonate powder and granular material of an amorphous state obtd. by supplying an org. solvent soln. of polycarbonate into hot water and rapidly removing the org. solvent. SOLUTION: The hot water between 70 to 100 deg.C is charged from a hot water introducing pipe into a kneader and stream is supplied therein from a steam introducing pipe to maintain the internal temp. While the hot water is kept stirred, the org. solvent soln. of the polycarbonate is charged fed therein from the introducing pipe, by which the polycarbonate powder and granular material is obtd. The resulted powder and granular material is pulverized to a diameter <=3 mm by a pulverizing machine and is then dried by the hot air drier. The m.p. by a differential scanning calorimeter is not substantially admitted with the powder and granular material. If such polycarbonate powder and granular material of the amorphous state is used, the control of the resin temp. at the time of melt extrusion is facilitated and the increase of the foreign matter amt. by melt extrusion is suppressed. The polycarbonate obtd. from 2,2-bis(4- hydroxyphenyl)propane is preferable.
