PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device performing excellent reproduction without jitter capable of similaly giving the same heat accumulation by the remained heat just before recording for obtaining the similar mark shape to the mark recorded just after a large light quantity such as an erasing light quantity even for a starting mark recorded just after the light quantity such as an erasing light quantity. SOLUTION: At the time of starting the recording operation succeeding to the light spot having a reproducing light quantity Pr having a smaller light quantity, by projecting a light spot having an initial recording light quantity Pt larger than an ordinary recording light quantity in a fixed time interval T, a heat accumulating effect by remained heat is falsely obtained even in a part having originally no remained heat. Consequently, even a starting mark M1 is recorded in the mark shape similar to that of marks M2, M3,... recorded succeeding to the light spot having a larger erasing light quantity Pe. |
