PURPOSE:To prevent a device from generating a leak-out or the lie of machining fluid before its occurrence, by constituting the device such that operation of the main unit of a machine is stopped by providing a machining fluid detecting sensor in a pad and generating an alarm on the basis of an output signal from this sensor, in the case of the electric machining device. CONSTITUTION:An electric machining device, being prepared for an unexpected accident of machining fluid 11 in its overflow trouble or the like from a machining tank 6 due to excessive supply of the machining fluid, is constituted such that the main unit 1 of a machine, providing in the bottom of its machining bed 2 a pad 19 while receiving the machining fluid 11 leaking or overflowing from the tank 6 to be contained in this pad 19 and promptly detecting the machining fluid accumulated in the pad 19 by a machining fluid detecting sensor 20, actuates on the basis of its output signal an alarm device 22 to generate an alarm sound and the other alarm or stops machining as necessary by feeding a signal to a spoer supply device 12 and a machining fluid control device 18 or the like. In this way, generation of an accident of the machining fluid due to its leak and/or overflow can be prevented before occurrence. |
