PURPOSE:To improve the adaptability of controlling the speed at starting time and to improve the damping of a motor by relatively controlling the speed instead of phase comparison control at the starting time. CONSTITUTION:When a copy operation start command is input to a controller 11, the controller 11 outputs a control signal to an incrementing/decrementing counter 7 to fix the output value of the counter 7 in response to the set speed V1 of a motor 1. An adder 9 compares the value with the speed signal of the motor from a speed detector 12, and inputs to the controller 11. The controller 11 controls a drive circuit 13 in the direction for reducing the difference to accelerate the motor. When the rotating speed of the motor 1 arrives at the prescribed speed, the controller 11 controls the speed by a phase comparing loop in addition to the control of the speed. |
