The invention relates to an adaptor device between two coaxial connectors 7, 8 of the same characteristic impedance Zc and of different diameters, enabling a wide frequency-band microwave signal to be transmitted, including an outer body 5 and a cylindrical core 6, the ends of which are placed in contact with the cores of the said connectors 7, 8, the dielectric located between this outer body 5 and this core 6 being air. According to the invention, this outer body includes an internal surface made from at least three consecutive cylindrical parts, the diameters of which have values decreasing from the larger-diameter connector 7 towards the smaller-diameter connector 8, providing, with the cylindrical core, at least two annular cavities 51 and 53 of very short lengths ( DELTA l1, l2) and of characteristic impedances Z''c and Z'c greater than Zc and two other annular cavities of impedance Zc. <IMAGE>
