摘要 PURPOSE:To save energy and to stabilize the quality of a liquid food by a method wherein when the operation of the heat exchanger is started, the temperature of the heat exchanger is made to rise automatically by a sequence control and during the above process, an automatic temperature adjuster has no integrating function but when the temperature reaches a predetermined value, the sequence temperature control is switched to a control by the automatic temperature adjuster to thereby minimize the fluctuation of the liquid food temperature. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature of the liquid food transferred to the heat exchanger 1 by a pump 2 does not reach a target value, the liquid food 3 is returned to an original tank through a changeover valve 5 and at the same time, electromagnetic valves 12 and 13 are operated by the pressure of air set by an air pressure reducing valve 14 to open an adjust valve 8 so that vapor 9 is supplied to the heat exchanger, and the liquid food 3 begins to be heated to an elevated temperature. In this case, the integrating function of an automatic temperature adjuster 6 remains stopped. However, when the temperature of the liquid food lowers to a value higher than the lower limit alarm position of the automatic temperature adjuster, the electromagnetic valves 11, 12 and 13 are operated by a pressure reducing valve 15 in which the air pressure equal to the output value of the automatic temperature adjuster in the usual condition is set, so that the adjust valve 8 opens and the liquid food 3 is heated to an elevated temperature. Next, after a lapse of several seconds from the arrival of the liquid food temperature at the upper limit alarm position of the automatic temperature adjuster, the automatic sequence control is switched to that by the automatic temperature and from thence the integrating function of the automatic temperature adjuster begins to be displayed.
