摘要 PURPOSE:To enable the setting of a scanner at random with respect to the weld line of work along with a higher flaw detection accuracy and working efficiency, by automatically taking-in the flaw detection data and position data to automatically figure out the position of a flaw by a computation processing. CONSTITUTION:The incident point P of a probe is matched with the first reference point A on the weld line of work to take in position coordinates on the X and Y axes and the angle theta of oscillation with zero as reference point on the scale. Then, the position coordinates on the X and Y axes are taken in by matching the incident point with the second reference point B on the weld line to determine the set angle alpha of a scanner itself with respect to the weld line from these and the position coordinates of the reference point A. Based on the angle alpha, the position coordinates N(X1, Y1) of the incident point of the probe at the position of a flaw detected are determined with the weld line as reference. In this manner, the horizontal distance L between the incident point of the probe and the flaw position Q is determined from the preset oblique angle phi of the probe and the beam course W to the flaw to figure out the position coordinates (X2, Y2) of the flaw position Q with respect to the weld line by the formula, wherein X0 and Y0 represent position coordinates of the probe on the X and Y axes at the flaw position with the scanner as reference.
