A contacting ring for installation between the ends of the RF line sections to be connected consists of two spring sheet-metal annular discs 10, 11 which are provided on the inner edge and outer edge with pinnations 14 and 16 respectively. These pinnations are formed by interlaced teeth 18 and 20 respectively between which incisions 22, 24 are located which are rounded at the base to prevent the notch effect. In each case one sealing ring 28, 30 is vulcanised on on both sides between the inner pinnation 14 and the holes 12, which are used for the flange connecting bolts to pass through, which sealing rings 28, 30 are connected to one another via a web which passes through an annular gap 32 between the annular discs 10, 11 and is formed during the vulcanising process. <IMAGE>
