PURPOSE:To improve the function of picture editing and the operability of a picture editing area input part by designating desired areas of the same original or plural originals and starting copying after completing editing while confirming contents on a display device. CONSTITUTION:In a display part 49, forms of size A4 are set on a paper supply tray of the first stage, and forms of size B3 and size A3 are set on paper supply trays of the second and the third stages respectively, and an A4 display part is surrounded with a frame when the first stage is selected. When the second stage should be selected, a supply paper selecting key 40 is depressed to move the frame to the second stage, and the second stage is selected. The whole of the copying machine is controlled by a control program stored in a ROM603. The control program is roughly divided into two, and one is a program (holding routine) for processing of picture editing input. copy mode input, etc., and the other is a timing control program (copy routine) of copy process loads. |
