PURPOSE:To obtain a silver halide color photographic sensitive material superior in toughness to light and heat, high in color developing performance, and capable of exhibiting good density even when it is processed in a fatigued bleaching soln., by incorporating a specified cyan dye forming coupler. CONSTITUTION:The photographic sensitive material contains a cyan dye forming coupler represented by the formula in which R1 is an aliphatic, aryl, or heterocyclic group; R2 is H, or same as R1; R3 is H, halogen, aliphatic, aryl, alkoxy, aryloxy, or acylamino; Y is a bivalent group, such as -CO-, -CO(R4)-, or -SO2N (R4)-; Z is a bivalent group, such as -O-, -N(R5)-, or -S-; R4, R5 are each H, aliphatic group may be satd. or unsatd., straight or branched or cyclic. Such a cyan coupler has excellent light and heat toughness, and superior color developing performance, and the use of such a cyan coupler permits color development performance high in gamma value and max. density to be obtained, and a good image tough to light and heat without deterioration of density at the treatment of a fatigued bleaching soln. can be obtained. |
