A radiation-proof and fireproof wall duct for cables (26), pipes and the like, which is provided in the primary region of a nuclear power station and is bent in shape, with a first region inclined at 45 DEG to the outside surface of the wall (10) and a second region (11, 12) which is connected to the first region and extends perpendicularly to the wall, is provided with fireproof mortar (24) on its outside end of the first region and a granular shielding material (25) on the inside. A fireproof mortar (24) with density of >/= 2.3 g/cm<3> is envisaged, and BaSO4 with a grain diameter of 0 (dust) to 4 mm is envisaged as a granular shielding material. A sealable subsequent filling block (28) is inserted in the mortar in addition to at least one subsequent installation block (27) for cables. Once the subsequent filling aperture (26) has been opened, to permit the subsequent laying of cables, first the BaSO4 granular material can be sucked out, then the cable can be laid and finally the BaSO4 granular material can be poured back in again and vibrated to a prescribed density. Then the subsequent filling aperture (28) can be sealed once again. <IMAGE>
