PURPOSE:To enable the impartment of excellent image stability and storage stability, by using a fine particulate dispersant consisting of a diazonium salt, a specific coupler compound and an org. basic compound being a coupler melted under heating and showing a basic atmosphere as a main constitutional component. CONSTITUTION:In a diazo type thermal recording body wherein a photo-thermographic layer based on a fine particulate dispersion, which consists of a diazonium salt, coupler compounds represented by formulae ( I )-(IV) and a hydrophobic basic compound being a coupler showing a basic atmosphere upon the melting under heating, is provided on a support, one aromatic carboxylic acid derivative represented by formula (V) is contained in the photo-thermographic layer. As the diazonium salt, there is 4-N,N-dimethylaminobenzenediazonium chloride. As a binder material, corn starch or gum arabic can be used in an aqueous solvent and, as pigment, kaolin can be designated. By this method, excellent image stability and storage stability are obtained. |
