PURPOSE:To improve the using efficiency of a channel and transmission efficiency by constituting a fixed frame circulating a loop at a fixed speed of plural channels, indicating whether the channels are idle or not or whether the data of the channels are invalid or not on the basis of the state of a channel control bit, and numbering the channel data on the basis of the residual state. CONSTITUTION:Data transmission between low speed terminal equipments can be attained by using three bits b8-b10 of the channel control bit 31. When b8-b10 are ''0, 0, 0'' for instance, the channel is not being used, ''1, 1, 1'' indicates that the channel is being used but the following data bit is an invalid bit and ''0, 1, 1'' indicates data transmission from terminal equipment 23a to terminal equipment 23d. In said constitution, one channel can be used in common by six circuits and the using efficiency can be increased up to 6 times. |
