PURPOSE:To perform the estimation of the linearity of a lead way with high accuracy by providing the basic guide way on the same slope with the lead way and by measuring the displacement of the slope of the lead way, in the estimation of the linearity of the lead way provided to the lower part cylinder of a video tape recorder. CONSTITUTION:The lower part cylinder 20 of a video tape recorder is placed on a supporting table 30 and fixed by a bearing. The basic guide way 38 is provided on the supporting table with the same slope as the inclined lead way 23 of the lower part cylinder 20 as the measuring object. Displacement meters 62 and 66 are provided at an ascending and descending part 22 and brought into contact with the guide way 38 and the lead way 23 respectively. The table 30 and cylinder 20 are rotated by a motor 34, then, and a table Z is ascended and descended in order that the displacement meter 62 is brought into contact according to the slope of the guide way 38. A displacement meter 66 is brought into contact according to the slope of the lead way 23 following the ascent and descent of the table Z and electrical signal is transmitted. Since the displacement of the lead way of the measuring object is detected by the output signal transmitted from the displacement meter of the guide way, therefore, the linearity of the sloped surface can be detected with high accuracy. |
