PURPOSE:To remove a noise due to the external vibration and to detect an angular velocity correctly by providing the filter having a transmission zero point in the resonance frequency of detecting part in an angular velocity sensor of piezoelectric vibration type. CONSTITUTION:An angular velocity sensor is arranged via metal plates 9, 9' so as to intersect with each other piezoelectric bodies 10, 10' for detecting and piezoelectric bodies 11, 11' for driving at right angles. Then AC voltage 3 is applied on a driving part 1, 1' for vibration and if there is any angular velocity a detecting part 2, 2' is bent by Coriolis force and an electrical signal is generated on the piezoelectric bodies 10, 10' for detecting. It is then inputted into a filter 14 via an amplifier 4. The filter 14 thereof has a transmission zero point in the resonance frequency of the detecting part and removes a noise even if an external vibration is applied. The electrical signal of the angular velocity is then outputted with synchronous detection 6 and smoothing amplification 7. Due to the filter having a transmission zero point in the resonance frequency of the detecting part being provided on the detecting part a noise can be removed and the angular velocity can be correctly detected accordingly. |
