<p>PURPOSE:To certainly reversal-transport a transported article, even if the length is different, by detecting the transported article by a detection means and inverting the transported article by operating a reversal guide body after the article passes through a rotary body for introduction. CONSTITUTION:A sheet P of paper is discharged from paper discharging rollers 42 and 42 and sent into the second transport passage 17 by a flip lever 18 turned upwardly. Then, a reversal detecting switch 67 detects the sheet of paper and sends a signal into a CPU, and after a certain time, a reversal solenoid 28 is operated to turn a reversal plate 26 in the direction of arrow around a supporting point 26, and a reversal plate roller 27 at the top edge is brought into revolution-contact with an auxiliary roller 25, and the rear edge of the sheet P of paper on the reversal plate 26 is pushed-up, and introduced between a transport roller 23 and the auxiliary roller 25. Therefore, the rear edge of the sheet P of paper is detected by the reversal detecting switch 67, and since the plate 26 is operated after the sheet P of paper passes through the transport roller 23, the sheet of paper is prevented from bein caught by the transport roller 23, even if the length of the sheet of paper is different.</p> |
