PURPOSE:To prevent an engine from stalling even if deceleration rate is high by increasing the response of an engine rotational speed detecting circuit used for a fuel cutting device at the time of deceleration. CONSTITUTION:A resistor R' is connected in parallel with a discharging resistor R in an integrating circuit 14 to reduce a discharging time constant. Although the resistor R' is connected in parallel with the resistor R when a transistor TR' is turned on, the transistor TR' is turned on when the output of a comparator CMP is turned to H. Said output makes also a condition for turning on a transistor TR, so that a discharging time constant of the circuit 14 is switched from high to low at a timing for switching the set value of the comparator CMP. If the output of the comparator CMP is turned from H to L on the contrary, both the transistors TR, TR' are turned off, so that the set value of the comparator CMP is restored and only the resistor R is used for the circuit 14. Said status means acceleration. Therefore, response at the time of deceleration is improved. |
