PURPOSE:To attain highly reliable measurement by determining convergence after the continuous detection of a changing ratio less than a prescribed value by the prescribed number of times. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensor 1 detects a temperature and stores the detected value in a memory means 2 in every sampling timing. A changing ratio deciding means 3 and a convergence deciding means 4 for a detected temperature are formed in a CPU 16. The means 3 compares a detecting temperature obtained in each sampling timing with that obtained n times ahead of the sampling timing to calculate its changing ratio DELTA. When te changing ratio DELTA less than a prescribed value alpha (a constant) is detectd continuously by the prescribed number m (m=5 e.g.) of times, the means 4 determines convergence and generates a buzzer tone or displays characters or the like on a display means 5. Since convergence is determined at the stabilization of the detecting temperature close to a bodily temperature without determining it instantaneously even if the detecting temperature is temporally stabilized, high reliability is obtained. |
