PURPOSE:To shorten the moving time of stacker crane considerably thus to improve the treating capacity of warehouse by loading/unloading a delivery or stock pallet onto a delivery/stock conveyor provided at the intermediate stage of shelf through a stacker crane. CONSTITUTION:A delivery/stock conveyor 12 is provided from the entrance of containing shelf to the rearmost section at the intermediate stage of said shelf 11, to lift/lower the stock/delivery pallet between a shelf table 3 and the conveyor 12 through a lifting table 14 of a lift. When stocking, the stock pallet 1 is placed on the table 3 through a forklift 2 then moved onto the table 14 thereafter the table 14 is lifted through a command for the lift 13 to the height of the conveyor 12 and to move the pallet 1 to the conveyor 12. Upon full loading of conveyor 12, a command is fed to the stacker crane 7 to contain the stock pallet one by one in an empty shelf. The delivery work is performed reversely. |
