PURPOSE:To make the surface properties of a molded item favorable and to make the releasing easy even if a metal mold or a resin mold is used, by using a releaser made up of a polyether compound having a perfluoroalkyl group in the molecule. CONSTITUTION:The releaser is used in the production of a molded item of a polymeric material such as a synthetic resin, rubber, etc., and consists of a homopolymer copolymer of 3-perfluoroalkyl-1,2-epoxypropane as indicated by the formula or a copolymer thereof with at least one epoxide copolymerisable therewith. Since this releaser exhibits excellent releasing property even if a smaller amount of the release is applied to a molding surface, the surface of the molded item would not become sticky, or the molding surface would not be smeared. It is preferable that the content of the 3-perfluoroalkyl-1,2-epoxypropane in the polymer is 30-100mol% and the content of the copolymerizable epoxide is 0- 70mol%. The releaser is generally used in such a way that it is dissolved or dispersed in an organic solvent or an aqueous medium. |
