<p>The bed board, for use under a mattress to give extra rigidity, consists of laths (1) of more or less the same length as the bed frame. The laths are joined together by strips of a flexible material (3). The strips have ties on the ends for joining to the bed frame and they allow the laths to be rolled up, when not in use.
