PURPOSE:To eliminate the guage ununiformity due to vulcanization by a method in which sleeves are fitted to the range of the vulcanizing mold corresponding to the range where the guage ununiformity of an elastomer article occurs, and much spew is generated from the range of relatively large guage thickness. CONSTITUTION:To specify the range where the guage ununiformity due to vulcanization at each kind of tyres occurs and the degree of said ununiformity, the ununiformity amount of the guage is specified, making the cut section of the tyre having been vulcanized. At least one connecting hole 11 with a diameter A connecting the outside and the inside of a mold 10 at the range where the specified guage ununiformity occurs, is provided. At one hand, the guage regulating sleeves 13 having an outer diameter A and the same length (l) as the connecting hole 11 and further the air holes 12 of some kinds, large and small, is fixed to the connecting hole 11, and the vulcanization is achieved. As much spew is generated from the portion of large guage thickness, the guage becomes uniform. |
