PURPOSE:To obtain the stability of picture quality and to expand the allowable limit of the angle of a developing main pole by regulating a magnetic flux density in a developing area to <=100 gauses. CONSTITUTION:The developing device is constituted with a hopper 3, a magnetic roll 5, a sleeve 6, a regulating member 7, etc. The magnetic flux density in the developing area is set up to 100 gauses or below by using the magnetic roll 5 omitting a magnetic pole at the developing position, i.e. a developing main pole. Consequently, the allowable limit of the fitting angle of the magnetic roll 5 can be expanded, a time required for the assembling of the device can be shortened and the productivity can be improved. Since the allowable limit of the fitting angle of the magnetic roll 5 is expanded, always stable copies can be obtained. |
