PURPOSE: A method for automatically generating replay order and the device thereof are provided to automatically generate a replay list, which is information on the replay order, by grouping programs according to a program category, by using a data stream for a digital broadcast when storing in the recording media. CONSTITUTION: A method for automatically generating a replay list comprises: recording a received digital broadcasting program; generating a replay list by grouping the recorded broadcasting program, according to a broadcasting program category; and selectively inputting the broadcasting program category to group. The step of generating the replay list comprises the steps of confirming the recorded broadcasting program category, and additionally generating replay information of the confirmed broadcasting program to the replay list of the corresponding category. A device for automatically generating the replay list comprises: a recorder for recording the received digital broadcasting program; a detector for detecting the recorded broadcasting program category; and a controller for recording the replay information of the recorded broadcasting program, in the replay list corresponding to the detected category. |
