Circuit for limiting the maximum total power of a plurality of electrical loads

A circuit is specified which limits the maximum total power taken from a supply network by a plurality of electrical loads, some of the loads having a power requirement which can be regulated. In order to limit the power demand of complete installations having a plurality of electrical loads, a priority circuit is provided which connects the loads which can be regulated to the supply network in a predetermined priority sequence during their operating time.
