发明名称 Thermal block as a vehicle energy store
摘要 Exhaust gases and noise are still problems which are heard and smelt daily and over which to get heated. This could be changed, cars could whisk softly along odourlessly and make much better use of the energy in their tanks. It could be pleasantly cool in the car in the event of hot weather. This would be possible by means of a block made from metal or hard ceramic. The aim is to insert it in a heated state into an insulated container in the car, or to heat it in advance or in the container. In order to use the stored energy effectively, the boiling point of the liquid which effects the conversion to electrical energy by virtue of evaporation is to be selected as low as possible, but at the same time is to be capable of condensation by the slipstream. The evaporation is to take place in tubes which taper upwards and are to be arranged in a row, so that an axle with vanes which is arranged transversely thereabove can be forced to rotate. The slipstream is intended initially to cool the vapour, after which it is to be led partially along below the covering sheet metal of the car for cooling purposes, reaching the block in a heated state for the purpose of storing the absorbed heat, or directly to the evaporator liquid for the purpose of converting the absorbed heat into current. In the transition phase, when there are still not enough filling stations for refilling with heat, the block could be reheated in emergencies by burning clean gas which is carried along. Stationary combustion plants could also store their heat in stationary blocks, such blocks ... Original abstract incomplete.
