The invention relates to a coil arrangement having a coil former for double coils, which coil former is composed of individual coil formers (1) of identical shape. The individual coil formers are located flat side-by-side in the winding layer. Connecting incisions (10) are provided in such a manner that, in the case of the individual coil formers (1, 2) which rest on one another by means of the adjacent flanges in the winding layer, the winding wire (11) can be guided out of the winding space to the outside of the flange (3) and from there into the winding space of the other individual coil former (2), and in such a manner that plate-shaped attachments (12) are provided on the flange of the individual coil formers, which attachments (12) form a winding-wire connecting box in the operating position of the individual coil formers (1, 2). <IMAGE>
