摘要 The invention comprises a process for the production of cellulose from wood by boiling with aqueous acetic acid which contains up to 10% of chloroethanol. Digestion time (1-8 h), cellulose yield (40-60%) and boiling temperature (100-115 DEG C) depend on the water (1-55%) and chloroethanol content of the digestion solution. The digestion medium is recovered by vacuum distillation, no chemical residues or other types of environmental pollution resulting. The hemicelluloses and lignins simultaneously resulting from the wood can easily be separated from each other are only slightly condensed because of the mild digestion conditions and can therefore be easily further processed. In addition to spruce and beechwood, other coniferous and deciduous woods and high-resin pines and annual plants can be digested.
