In particular, the invention relates to the use of predetermined fluorescent markings on an external or internal surface of recyclable or reusable plastic containers to identify and sort the plastic containers according to their composition, contents, or use. Additionally, the present invention provides a method for determining whether the plastic container contains a coating material for purposes of recycling, reuse, or quality control.</p> |
